Secretary, G.S.A.M.B., Fatorda, Margao - Member The nominated Board shall arrange to hold the election of Goa Agricultural Produce Marketing Board within the stipulated period of two years or till such period election of the Board are held whichever is earlier as per the provision of Goa Agricultural Produce Marketing (Development and Regulation) Act, 2007 and Rules, 2010. And whereas, the term of the existing Board is due to expire on 03-04-2017. And whereas, the election process to elect the new members of the Board will not be completed by 03- 04-2017 due to various reasons. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers vestedin me under Section 16 (1) of the Goa Agricultural Produce Marketing (Development & Regulation)Act, 2007, I, Meena H. NaikGoltekar, Registrar of Co-operative Societies, Government of Goa, hereby appoint a Committee of Administrators consisting of the following members to manage the affairs of the Goa State Agricultural Marketing Board, Arlem,Raia, Salcete, Goa for a period of six months from the date of taking over the charge of the Marketing Board.

2. Shri Sunil Narayan Dessai, Member Khadpaband Post, Ponda-Goa.
3. Shri Kishor Shantaram Shet Mandrekar, Member H. No. 134, Deulwada, Mandrem, Pedne, Goa. And whereas, all the members of Marketing Board shall, as from the date specified in the order, cease to hold and vacate their offices as members. The Committee of Administrators shall take all the necessary steps to hold the election to the Board of Directors of the Goa State Agricultural Marketing Board before the expiry of the term of the Committee of Administrators. The extension to the Committee of Administrators is allowed since the election is to be conducted in accordance with the recent amendment to the Goa Agricultural Produce Marketing (Development & Regulation) Act, 2007. The extension to the Committee of Administrators is allowed since the election procedure is under process to conduct election of the said Board in accordance with the recent amendment to the Goa Agricultural Produce Marketing (Development and Regulation) Act, 2007 and to manage the day to day affairs of the Marketing Board.
