Section 7: Method of packing

Palmyra Fibre (Grading and Marking) Rules, 1964Central Rules · 1937

(1) Palmyra fibre shall be packed in bales or ballots of such weight as may be approved by the Agricultural Marketing Adviser.

(2) Each package shall contain fibre of one grade designation only.

(3) Each package shall contain fibers of only one length or an assortment of not more than three lengths in equal proportions when required.

(4) Only sound, clean and dry packing material such as may be approved by the Agricultural Marketing Adviser shall be used for packing of Palmyra fibers.
