Section 56: Power to make regulations.

The Panjab District Boards Act, 1883Central Act · Act 20 of 1883

(1) Every district board or local board empowered in. this behalf by the Local Government may make regulations for carrying out all or any of the purposes of this Act.

(2) A regulation made under this section shall not have effect until it has been confirmed by the Local Government and published in such manner and for such time as the Local Government may direct.
