Section 7: Verification of information

Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (Pension Fund) Regulations, 2015Central Regulations · 2013

(1) While considering the application for certificate of registration, based on the information furnished by the applicant and its eligibility, the Authority may, if it so desires, verify the information in any 42 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART III—SEC. 4] manner it deems necessary, which may include physical verification of documents, office space, and inspect the availability of office space, infrastructure, and technological support which the applicant is required to have.

(2) For the purpose of verification of information, the Authority may appoint any person including any of its officers or an external auditor.
