Section 29: Appointment of designated authority

Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (Trustee Bank) Regulations, 2015Central Regulations · 2013

(1) Where it appears to the designated member that any Trustee Bank which has been granted certificate of registration under these regulations or any other concerned person has committed any default of the nature specified in regulation26, he may appoint an officer not below the rank of a Chief General Manager, or any other officer of an equivalent rank as a designated authority.

(2) No officer who has conducted investigation or inspection in respect of the alleged violation shall be appointed as a designated authority.
