Section 7: Verification of information

(1) While considering the application, the information furnished by the applicant and its eligibility, the Authority may, if it so desires, verify the information in any manner, as deemed necessary, 20 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART III—SEC. 4] which may include physical verification of documents, office space and inspect the availability of office space, infrastructure and technological support which the applicant is required to have.

(2) For the purpose of verification of information, the Authority may appoint any person including any of its officers or an external auditor or agency.
