Section 10: Leave and leave encashment

PFRDA (Salary and Allowances Payable to and other Terms and Conditions of Service of Chairpersons and WTM) Rules, 2014Central Rules · 2013

(1) The Chairperson and the whole-time members shall be entitled to thirty days of earned leave for every year of service.

(2) The payment of leave salary during leave shall be governed by rule 40 of the Central Civil Services (Leave) Rules,

1972.

(3) The Chairperson and the whole-time members shall be entitled to encashment of fifty per cent, of earned leave standing to their credit at any time, subject to the condition that encashment shall be permitted only once during any calendar year for a maximum of twelve days in a calendar year.

1!. Leave sanctioning authority.—(1) The Chairperson shall be the authority competent to grant leave to a wholetime member.

(2) The President of India shall be the authority competent to sanction leave to the Chairperson.
