Section 43: Completion of courses of studies in colleges and institutions affiliated to the University.

The Pondicherry University Act, 1985Central Act · Act 53 of 1985

Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act, or in the Statutes or the Ordinances, any student of a college or institution, who, immediately before the admission of such college or institution to the privileges of the Pondicherry University, was studying for a degree, diploma or certificate of the University of Madras, the University of Calicut or the Andhra University, shall be permitted by the Pondicherry University to complete his courses for that degree, diploma or certificate, as the case may be, and the Pondicherry University and such college or institution shall provide for the instructions and examination of such student in accordance with the syllabus of studies of the respective University.
