Section 12: Powers and functions of Governing Body

The Governing Body shall exercise such powers and discharge such functions as are specified in the 12(1)* The Governing Body shall exercise such powers and discharge sich functions as are specified in Schedule-I.

(2) The Governing Body shall have the power to deligate any of its powers as conferred upon under Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh, Act 1966, Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh Rules, 1967 and Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh Regulation1967 to any person, posts, committees, Boards or other Bodies composed wholly or partly of its own members by passing a resolution to that effect.
