Section 33: Period of probation

The Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarg Regulations, 1967Central Regulations · 1966

Unless otherwise decided by the Appointing Authority in any case, all employees shall be on probation for two years. During the 2nd period of probation, the employee shall be required to put in satisfactory service failing which his services shall be liable to termination at any time without any notice or reason being assigned for the same.

The Appointing Authority may, however, extend the period of probation.
