1. (l) These rules may be called the National Savings Certificates (VI Issue) (Amendment) Rules. 1986.
(2) They shall omc into force on the W da> of Apul, 1986.
2. In the National Savings Certificates (VI issue) Rules, 1981,—
(a) iaiule3, the word and figures. "R1-. 10", shall be omitted,
(b) after rule 3, the following rule th.'ll be insetted, namely:— "3A. Disc wuinuanoo of National Savings Certificates (VI Issue) in denomination of Rs. 10.
(1) On and fiom the lstda\ oi April, 1986, the National Savings Certificates (VI Issue) in denomination of Rs.
10 shall be discontinued.
(2) Notwithstanding anything contained in ^ub-rule (1), these rules shall continue to apply to any certificate in denomination of Rs. 10 purchased before the 1st day of April, 1986".;
