(iii)~(~)~ 3 f11~fsll< ( 3lq. )ijqf) cit. v;. v;ti. ~. ~ (~) [fcrar!A-11114/~/163/12] PRASAR BHARATI (Broadcasting Corporation oflndia) NOTIFlCATION New Delhi, the 20th February, 2013 No. A-10/32/2013-PPC.-ln exercise of the powers conferred by Section 9 and sub-section (5) of Section 11 read with clause ( d) of sub-section (2) of section 33 of the Prasar Bharati (Broadcasting Corporation of India) Act, 1990 (25 of 1990), and in supersession of the Prasar Bharati (Broadcasting Corporation of India) Cameraman Grade-II Post Service Regulations, 2002, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Prasar Bharati "(Broadcasting Corporation of India), with the prior approval of the Central Government, hereby makes the following regulations, namely:- !. Short title and commencement.- (I) These regulations may be called the Prasar Bharati (Broadcasting Corporation oflndia) Cameraman Grade-II Recruitment Regulations, 2013
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Number of posts, Pay Band and Grade Pay or Pay scale.-The number of the said post, its Pay Band and Grade Pay or Pay Scale shall be as specified in columns 2 to 4 of the Schedule annexed to these regulations.
3. Method ofrecruitmcnt, age limit, qualifications, etc.-The method of recruitment, age limit, qualifications and other matters relating to the said post shall be as specified in columns 5 to 12 of the said Schedule.
4. Seniority.-The interse seniority of Cameraman Grade II who are appointed under these regulations shall be in accordance with the general instructions issued by the Department of Personnel and Training from time to time.
5. Disqualification.-No person, -
(a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living; or
(b) who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person, Shall be eligible for appointment to the said post:
Provided that the Corporation may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage, and that there arc grounds for so doing, exempt any person from the operation of this regulation.
6. Age relaxation for casual assignees.-The casual assignees working in the Stations or Kendras of All India Radio and Doordarshan performing the duties of Cameraman shall be eligible for relaxation of age for direct recruitment to the extent of their services rendered as Cameraman on casual basis.
Provided that a minimum of 120 days service in a calendar year shall be reckoned as one year service.
Explanation.-It is hereby clarified that for detennining the extent of service rendered for the purpose of this regulation, engagement of a total minimum period of one hundred and twenty days in one calendar year as Cameraman on casual basis shall be taken as one year and their engagement for less than one hundred and twenty days in a calendar year shall not qualify for such age relaxation.
7. Power to relax.-Where the Corporation is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do, it may, by order, for reasons to be recorded in writing, and in consultation with the Prasar Bharati Recruitment Board. and with the prior approval of Central Government, relax any of the provisions of these regulations with respect to any class or category of persons.
8. Saving.-Nothing in these regulations shall affect reservations, relaxation of age limit and other concessions required to be provided for persons belonging to the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, ex-servicemen and other special categories of persons, in accordance with the orders issued by the Government from time to time in this' regard.
