Section 4: Method of recruitment, age limit. Qualifications etc

The method of rccruitmentto the said posts, age limit, qualifications and other matters connected therewith shall be as specified in Column 6 to 14 of the said Schedule.

’ Provided that the upper age limit prescribed for direct recruitment may be relaxed in the case of departmental candidates and candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes and Other Special Categories of persons in accordance with the instructions issued by the Government of India from time to time.

Provided further that the qualifications/cxpcrience prescribed for direct recruitment may be relaxed by the Competent Authority in case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes and Other Special Categories of persons, if at any stage of selection, the Competent Authority is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the vacancies reserved for them.
