Section 14: Transfer of complaint

Public Liability Insurance (Amendment) Rules, 2024Central Rules · 1991

(1) If the adjudicating officer is of the view or it is made to appear that he does not have jurisdiction to entertain the complaint under these rules, he shall transfer the matter to the adjudicating officer concerned within fifteen days of the receipt of such complaint or information made available to him, after reasons to be recorded in writing.

(2) The adjudicating officer to whom such case is transferred shall proceed with the inquiry from the stage it is transferred to him.
