Section 2: Definitions

The Puducherry Civil Courts Act, 1966Union territory Act of Puducherry · Act 12 of 1966

In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires, --

(a) “Government” means the Administrator appointed by the President under article 239 of the Constitution;

(b) “High Court” means the High Court at Madras;

(c) “Union territory” means the Union territory of Puducherry.
