Section 19

The Puducherry Ground Water (Control and Regulation) Act, 2002Union territory Act of Puducherry · Act 2 of 2003

(1) No prosecution for an offence under this Act shall be instituted except by or with the written consent of the Ground Water Authority or a person authorised in this behalf by the Ground Water Authority.

(2) No court inferior to that of a Judicial Magistrate of the First Class shall try any offence under this Act.
