Section 6: Inspectors

The Puducherry Industrial Establishments(National and Festival Holidays)act, 1964Union territory Act of Puducherry · Act 8 of 1964

(1) The Administrator may, by notification, appoint such persons or such class of persons as he thinks fit to be Inspectors for the purposes of this Act for such local limits as the Administrator may specify.

(2) Every Inspector shall be deemed to be a public servant within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code (Central Act XLV of 1860).
