Section 17: Tenure of the Committee

Puducherry Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children)Rules, 2017Union territory Rules of Puducherry · 2016

(1) The Committee shall have a tenure of three years and the tenure of Chairperson and Members shall be co-terminus with the tenure of the committee.

(2) Any casual vacancy in the Committee may be filled by appointment of another person from the panel of names prepared by the Selection Committee, and shall hold office for the remaining term of the Committee.
