Section 6: Revision by the High Court

The Karaikal Pannaiyal Protection Act, 1966Union territory Act of Puducherry · Act 3 of 1966

The Revenue Court shall be deemed to be a Court subordinate to the High Court and its orders shall be liable to revision by the High Court on all or any of the following grounds, namely: -

(a) it has exercised a jurisdiction not vested in it by law, or

(b) it has failed to exercise a jurisdiction so vested, or

(c) it has acted in the exercise of its jurisdiction illegally or with material irregularity.
