The Puducherry Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling on Land) Act, 1973Union territory Act of Puducherry · Act 9 of 1974

(1) No court shall take cognizance of any offence punishable under this Act except on complaint in writing made by the authorised officer or any officer empowered by him by special order.

(2) No court inferior to that of sub-divisional Magistrate shall try any offence punishable under this Act.
