The Puducherry Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1967Union territory Act of Puducherry · Act 5 of 1967
(1) Any person who is aggrieved by any order or direction of the licensing officer may file an appeal before such person or authority, in such manner, within such time and on payment of such fees, as may be prescribed.
(2) The appeal shall be heard and decided in such manner as may be prescribed.
Protection in respect of acts done in good faith
16. No prosecution, suit or other legal proceeding shall lie against any person for anything in good faith done or intended to be done under this Act.
Trial of offences
17. No court inferior to that of a Magistrate of the first class shall try any offence punishable under this Act.
