The Puducherry (Public) Health Act, 1973Union territory Act of Puducherry · Act 5 of 1974

(1) The Health Officer in charge of any local area shall exercise supervision and control over all other members of the public health establishment in such area.

(2) Every local authority shall provide its Health Officer with adequate facilities for the proper conduct of business of such Health Officer.
