Immediately after constitution of the State Commission for Protection of Child Rights by the Government, the Authority shall cease to function and all records and assets of the Authority shall be transferred to the State Commission for Protection of Child Rights and thereafter the State Commission for Protection of Child Rights shall perform the functions of the Authority in addition to the functions assigned to it under the Protection of Child Rights Act, 2005.
