The Puducherry Town and Country Planning Act, 1969Union territory Act of Puducherry · Act 13 of 1970

(1) The term of office and the conditions of service of the Chairman and members of the Planning Authority shall be such as may be prescribed and they shall be entitled to receive such salaries or allowances as may be fixed by the Government.

(2) The Government may, if it thinks fit, terminate the appointment of the Chairman or any member of the Planning Authority at any time.

(3) The Chairman or any member may resign his membership of the Planning Authority by giving notice in writing to the Government and on such resignation being accepted by the Government, he shall cease to be a member of the Planning Authority.

(4) Any vacancy so created shall be filed by fresh appointment by the Government.
