Section 43: Over-riding effect of this Act

Punjab Apartment and Property Regulation Act, 1995.State Act of Punjab · Act 14 of 1995

(1) The provisions of this Act shall take effect, notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in any other law for the time being in force or in any contract.

(2) The provisions of the Transfer of Property Act, 1882 (Central Act No. IV of 1882) shall, in so far as they are not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, apply to every apartment together with the percentage of undivided interest in the common areas and facilities appurtenant to such apartment, as they apply in relation to any immovable property.
