Section 195: Occupational health centres

Punjab Building and Other Construction Workers ( (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2008.) Rules, 2008State Rules of Punjab · 1996

The employer shall ensure at a construction site of a building or other construction work, involving hazardous processes, specified under Schedule-VII that,—

(a) an occupational health centre, mobile or static is provided and maintained in good order at such site;

(b) services and facilities as per scale laid down in Schedule-VIII are provided at the occupational health centre, referred to in clause (a); and Sections 40 (2)

(t) and 62 98

(c) a construction Medical Officer, appointed as at occupational health centre possesses the qualification as laid down in Schedule-IX.
