Section 217: Allowances of members

Punjab Building and Other Construction Workers ( (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2008.) Rules, 2008State Rules of Punjab · 1996

(1) The travelling allowance of an official member of the State Advisory Committee, shall be governed by the rules applicable to him for journeys performed by him on official duties, and shall be paid by the authority paying his salary.

(2) A non-official member shall be paid the travelling allowance for attending the meeting of such Committee at such rates, as are specified by the State Government in this regard from time to time.

(3) The allowances of the members and other expenditure of the Committee shall be borne by the Punjab Building and other Construction Workers’ Welfare Board.
