i) � One representa�ve of each member society.
ii) � All persons nominated by the Govt. U/S 26(2) of the Punjab Coopera�ve Socie�es Act. 1961.
iii) � Registrar.
19. � Unless otherwise provided under these bye-laws, the ul�mate authority in all ma�ers rela�ng to administra�on of the Federa�on shall vest in the General Body.
20. � All the member of the Board shall be en�tled to a�end the General Body mee�ng.
21. � The General Body of the Federa�on shall meet from �me to �me but at least once a year. The mee�ng of the General Body shall be summoned by the Managing Director under the direc�on of the Board . A special general body mee�ng, shall also be convened if a requisi�on for such a mee�ng, signed by 1/5th of the total members for the �me being, is received by the Board. If within 30 days of the receipt of the requisi�ons the Board fails to convene the general mee�ng, the requis�onists may refer the ma�er to the Registrar, who may if he thinks fit, summon the special general body mee�ng of the Federa�on, Every member society will be represented by a person duly authorised by it.
22. � At least fi�een days clear no�ce specifying the date, place �me and agenda for a general mee�ng shall be given to all the members by post under a cer�ficate of pos�ng. The quorum for the general body mee�ng shall be 1/4th of the total number of members or 500 which ever is less. If at a general body mee�ng or special general body mee�ng, the quorum is not forthcoming within one hour of the �me fixed for the mee�ng, the Chairman of the mee�ng shall, if a mee�ng has been called on requisi�on of the member, adjourn it and no further general body mee�ng shall be convened on the strength of the requisi�on of the members.
� If the general body mee�ng is convened otherwise than on requisi�on, the Chairman shall postpone the mee�ng to a further date. A fresh fi�een days clear no�ce for the subsequent general body mee�ng shall be given to all members, If at the reconvened mee�ng also, the quorum is not forthcoming within one hour, the members present shall cons�tute a quorum and the mee�ng may be held and business transacted with the number of members present.
23. � The Chairman or in his absence the Vice-Chairman shall preside over the mee�ng of the General Body. When both of them are absent the members present shall elect a chairman for the mee�ng.
24. � Every member of the General Body shall have one vote.
Unless otherwise provided in these Bye-laws, all ques�ons shall be decided by a majority of votes of the members present and vo�ng. When the votes are equal, the Chairman shall have a cas�ng vote.
