The Punjab Cattle Fairs (Regulation) Act, 1967State Act of Punjab · Act 6 of 1968

(1) No person shall sell cattle at a cattle fair unless he has obtained a registration certificate in respect of such cattle in such manner, on payment of such fee and from such authority, as may be prescribed.

(2) Every person purchasing cattle at a cattle fair shall obtain in respect of such cattle a sale certificate in such manner, on payment of such fee and from such authority, as may be prescribed.
