HOME (JAILS) DEP.LLTHENT NOTIFIC.TIONs \ i Dated Chandigarh the Feb .65 - No_ In supersession of Punjab Government . i e notificetion Noe 5700-JL=38/3234 dated 24-1-1939 and Pepsu Y Government Notification No.81/A, dated the 26th April,19685, and’ the exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the constitution of India, and all other pewers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to make” * 3 the following rules for the departmental examination of members s - of the punjab Prisons Service (Class II) and the Assistant Superintendents and Welfszre Officers:- )

1. These rules may be called the Punjeb Departmental Ed#amination (Jail Department) Rules, 1965 * —_ .

(2) Under the orders of the Central Committee, the secretary shall= i

(1) receive the question papers from the examiners and couse them to be printed;

(1i1) transmit the answer papers to the @xaminers concerne«;\ §1v) receive and compile the marks awarded; K % (v) report the result to the Central Committee; and 2

(vi) Yikgenerally conduct the whole correspondence and business of the examination not expressly allotted ¥ - any other authority.
