Section 12: Discipline, penalties and appeals

(l) In the nratter of discipline, punishment and appeals, a member of a Scrvice shall be governed by the Punjab Civil Services (Punishment and Appeal) Rules, 1970, as amended from time to lime.

(2) The authority etnpowered lo inlpose pena ltiesspecified in rule 5 ol the Punjab Civil Services (Punishment and Appeal) Rules, 1970 and the appellate authority thereunder in respect ofthe Covernment employee shall be such as may be specified in the Scrvice Rules.
