The Punjab Fire and Emergency Service Act, 2024State Act of Punjab · Act 12 of 2024

(1) The provisions of the Punjab Civil Service Rules, and the Government Employees (Conduct) Rules, 1966 shall mutatis mutandis apply to the employees of the Service. Rules as applicable to the Punjab Government employees shall also be applicable to the members of the Service.

(2) Without prejudice to any other provision of this Act, the Government may prescribe for members of the Service, benefits and allowances of such nature and to such extent as the Government may deem fit, in the light of risks, hazards and hardship peculiar to the duty of a member of the Service.
