Section 2: Definition- In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires

Punjab Food and Supplies (Class I) Services Rules 1988State Rules of Punjab · 1987

(a) 'Government' means the Government of the State of Punjab in the Department of Food and Supplies;

(b) 'Service' means the Punjab Food and Supplies (Class I) Service.

3. Number and Character of posts- The service shall comprise the posts specified in Appendix 'A' to these rules;

Provided than nothing in these rules shall affect the inherent right of the Government of add or reduce the number of such posts or to create new posts with different designation and seales of pay, whether permenently or temporarily.
