(1) Any registered practitioner may within Presentation of a period of thirty days from the date on which the petitions.

electiori of any member is notified under sub-se'ction ( 6) of section 3 and on furnishing the prescribed security in the prescribed manner, present on one or more of the grounds specified in sub-section (1) nf section 48 to the prescribed authorhy an election pP- . tition in writing against the election of such member.

(2) The election petition shall be deemed to have been presented to the prescribed authority-

(a) when it is delivered to the prescribe<l authority-

(i) by the person making the petition, or Contents of petitions.

(b) when it is sent by registered post and is delivered to the prescribed authority.
