(l) From fhe date of the commencement of these rules, the subscription made by the employess to‘the contributory provident fund alongwith interest accrued thereon, shall stand converted into the Genera) Provident Fund.
(2) Subject tothe provisions ofthe Act. and the rules framed thereunder, the rules contained in Chaptzr XIII of the Punjab Civil Services * Rules, Volume IT, shall apply motatis mutandis to the employees of the trusts,
(3)" The General Provident Fund Account in respect of gach employec shall be maintained at the level of each trust by such competent authority as is specified in Appendix “B’ and in case of trausfer of an employee from ofie trust to another, the amount alongwith interest accrued thereon upto the date of transfer, shallbe sent tothetrust to which the employee is trapsferred. The advaace and final payment from the fund shall be - . sanctmuad by the competent authority.
