Section 12: Cognizance of offences

The Punjab Industrial Establishment (National and Festival Holidays and Casual and Sick Leave) Act, 1965 (State Act of Punjab · Act 14 of 1965

(1) No court shall take cognizance of any offence under this Act or the rules made thereunder except on a complaint in writing by an aggrieved person or an Inspector.

(2) No court below that of a Judicial Magistrate of the first class shall try any offence punishable under this Act or the rules made thereunder.
