6(A). Departmental Examination.— A person appointed to post mentioned at serial number 5 of Appendix-‘A’, in the Service shall have to undergo practical training in the Industry as directed by the Government and thereafter has to pass the practical examination conducted by the Government.
Such persons shall be given three chances to pass the examination within three years of their appointment. The modalities to conduct the practical examination from time to time shall be approved by the Government. If he fails to pass the practical examination within a period not exceeding three years from date of appointment, the Government may, “if such person is recruited by direct appointment, dispense with his services, or revert him to a post on which he held lien prior to his appointment to the Service by direct appointment.”
