Such portion of the fund as cannot be applied or sometime for the purpose of the Act shall be invested by the Board in the National Saving Certificates or other securities referred 3[to] in Section 20 of the Indian Trust Act, 1882 4[or deposited in the fixed deposit or in the Savings Bank Account in the State Bank of India or in any Nationalised Bank, or in the Punjab State Cooperative Bank Limited.
