Section 17: Mode of proclaiming notifications and of serving notices, orders and processes, issued under the Act

The Punjab Land Preservation Act, 1900State Act of Punjab · Act 2 of 1900

(1) Upon the publication of a notification issued under any of the provisions of this Act, the 109[109][District Officer (Revenue)] shall cause public notice of the substance thereof to be given at convenient places in the locality to which such notification relates.

110[110][(2) The procedure prescribed for the service of summons, notice, order or proclamation under the law relating to land revenue for the time being in force, shall be followed, as far as may be, in proceedings under this Act].
