Section 2: Local extent.

The Punjab Laws Act, 1872Central Act · Act 4 of 1872

It extends to the territories which immediately before the 1st November, 1956, were comprised in the States of Panjab and Delhi, but not so as to alter the effect of any regulations made for any parts of the said territories under the Statute 33 Vict, Section 1;

And it shall come into force on the first day of June, 1872.
