50-A. Conditions of validity of rules hereafter made under this Act.--[(1)] [Rules made under this Act shall not be valid unless:]---

(a) they are consistent with the laws for the time being in force in the [territories to which this Act extends];

(b) they are published in the Official Gazette;

[(2) Every rule made by the State Government under this Act shall be laid, as soon as may be after it is made, before the State Legislature.]
