Section 7: Model conditions for transfer of the property to the tenant or occupant

Punjab Management and Transfer of Municipal Properties Rules, 2021State Rules of Punjab · 2020

(1) Every municipality in addition to conditions necessary for description and identification of the property as specified in Form-D, must also include all the conditions necessary for transfer of occupied property in the agreement to be entered into for such transfer under Section 5 of the Act.

(2). For proof of occupation, the occupant may furnish any one of the following documents:-

(i) Voter Identity Card;

(ii) Adhaar Card;

(iii) Driving License;

(iv) Bank Passbook;

(v) Vehicle Registration Certificate;

(vi). VAT/GST/ Sale Tax Registration Certificate;

(vii) Electricity meter connection;

(viii) Water supply connection;

(ix) Ration card; or

(x) any other valid document issued by the Government Authorities.
