Section 9: Transfer of certificate of Registration. Rule prescribed under Section 3 read with Section 40

The Punjab Motor Transport Workers (8.15 – 8.26) Rules, 1963State Rules of Punjab · 1961

(1) An employer holding a certificate of registration may, at may time, before the expiration its validity apply for permission to transfer the certificate to another person.

(2) Such application shall be made to the Chief Inspector or an Inspector duly authorized by him in this behalf who shall if he approves of the transfer enter upon the certificate of registration under his signature and endorsement to the effect that the certificate of registration has been transferred to the person named.
