Section 22: In the principal Act, section 430 shall be numbered as sub-section (I) thereof, and after sub-section ( I), as so re-numbered, the following sub-sections shall be inserted, namely
THE PUNJAB MUNICIPAL CORPORATION (SECOND Amendment Ordinance), 2013State Ordinance of Punjab · No. 42 of 1976
"(2) Ifany difficulty arises in giving effect to the provisions of the Punjab Municipal Corporation (Second Amendment) Ord inance, 2013, the Government may, by an order published in the Official Gazette, make such provisions, not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, as may appear to it to be necessary for expedient for rernov ing that d itficulty:
Provided that no order shall be made under this sub-section after the expiry of a period of two years from the date of publication in the Official Gazette the Punjab Municipal Corporation (Amendment) Ordinance. 2013.
(3) Every order made under sub-section (2) shall be laid, as soon as may be, after it is made before the Legislative Assembly.".
23. In the principal Act, THE rOURTH SCHEDULE shall be omitted.
