NO suit, prosecution or other legal proceedings shall lie against any person for anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done under this Act.
3[(2) No suit or other legal proceeding shall lie against the Government for any damage caused by anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done in pursuance of this Act or the rules made thereunder.]
4[14-A. The Deputy Commissioner may, by an order published in Delegation the Official Gazette, delegate any of his powers and functions under this Act or the rules made thereunder to such officer not below the rank of an Extra Assistant Commissioner subordinate to him as may be specified in such order.]
