The Punjab Package Deal Properties (Disposal) Act, 1976.State Act of Punjab · Act 21 of 1976

(1) The State Government may at any time call for the record of any case under this Act pending before, or disposed of by, any officer and may pass such order in relation thereto as in its opinion the circumstances of the case require and as is not inconsistent with any of the provisions contained in this Act or the rules made thereunder.

(2) Subject to the provisions of sub-section (1), the Commissioner may at any time call for the record of any case under this Act pending before, or disposed of by, any officer, and may pass such order in relation thereto as in his opinion the circumstances of the case require and as is not inconsistent with any of the provisions contained in this Act or the rules made thereunder.

(3) The State Government or the Commissioner shall not under this section pass an order reversing or modifying any proceeding or order of any officer without giving the affected person an opportunity of being heard.

15-A (1) Any appeal against an order of the Sales Commissioner pending under sub-section (1) of section 9 or any proceedings pending under sub-section (1) or sub-section (2) of section 10, immediately before the commencement of the Punjab Package Deal Properties (Disposal) Amendment Act, 1979, before the Chief Sales Commissioner shall stand transferred to and be decided by the concerned Chief Sales Commissioner.

(2) Any application for the revision of an order of the Chief Sales Commissioner under sub-section (4) of section 10 or 1 Substituted by Punjab Act No. 10 of 1979, section 6.
