Section 120: Divisional Inspection Commiltee

(1) In order to exercise Sa:tionsl•laoo supervision and control over the affairs of the Panchayat Samit is and the Zila 193 Parishads, Divisional Inspection Committee are constituted at division level, comprising the following:· I. Divisional Deputy Director of the area

2. All the Accounts Officers of the Zila Parishads in a division Chairman Members:

Provided th5t there will be one Divisional Inspection Committee for Ferozepur and Faridkot division headed by Divisional Deputy Director Ferozepur.

(2) Divisional Inspection Committee shall meet minimum once in a month.

Th.e Committee shall frame annual calendar for inspection of Panchayat Samitis and Zila Parishads by the teams in the month of March.

(3) Divisional lnspec1ion Committee shall conduct annual inspections of the Zila Parishads and the . Panchayat Samitis by forming three members tcamS beaded by Accounts Officer. A ft er examining the in.spcctioo repo11S and internal check reports within a month, the same shall be sent to the Director for appropriate action., Jn serious cases, i.e. embezzlement etc .. the matter shall be brought to the notice of the Director at once for quick actiQn.
