Section 36: Penalty for disobedience of special or general order of the Gram Panchayat

The Punjab Panchayati Raj Act, 1994State Act of Punjab · Act 9 of 1994

Any person who disobeys an order of the Gram Panchayat made under sections 34 and 35 shall be liable to a penalty which may extend to fifty rupees and if the breach is a continuing breach, with a further penalty which may extend to five rupees for every day after the first day during which the breach continues:

Provided that the recllrring penalty shall not exceed the sum of rupees five hundred.
