The Punjab Plastic Carry Bags (Manufacture, Usage and Disposal) Control Act, 2005State Act of Punjab · Act 17 of 2005

(1) The Punjab Plastic Carry Bags (Manufacture, Usage and Disposal) Control Ordinance, 2005 (Punjab Ordinance No. 11 of 2005), is hereby repealed.

(2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken under the Ordinance referred to in sub-section (1), shall be deemed to have been done or taken under the corresponding provisions of this Act.

Repeal and saving.

SCHEDULE [See Section 2(h)] NON-BIO-DEGRADABLE PLASTICS (as per IS: 14534: 1998)

1. Polyethylene Terepthalate (PET)

2. High Density Polyethylene (HDPE)

3. Poly Vinyl Chlorine (PVC)

4. Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE)

5. Polypropylene (PP)

6. Polystyrene (PS)

7. Others such as Polybutadiene Trephthalate (PBT), Acrilonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) and Acrylic.
