when any polson is sold, it shall be securely packed in a closed receptacle or container (according to the quantity) and every such receptacle or packet' shall be labelled by the licensee with a red label (bearing in English and in local language), giving the name of the poison and the name and address of the licensee. The following universal warning symbols shall also be displayed on the recePtacle' Security, storage and incident management of acids or corrosive substances by licesees.-A standard operating procedure outlining the measures undertaken for security, storage and incident management of acids orconosive substances, shall be prepared and displayed prominently in the premises of the user as follows:- SECURITY
(a) A person shall be made accountable for possession and safe keeping of acid in the Premises;
(b) The storage ofacidorcorrosive, shall be underthe supervision of a trained Person;
(c) The storage of acid or corrosive, shall be under double lock system, to ensure more securitY;
(d) A register of usage of acid, shall be maintained and a copy thereof, shall be sent to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate concerned, on quarterlY basis; and
(e) There shall be compulsory checking of the students or personnel, leaving the laboratories or place of storage, where acid or corrosive' is used or stclred.
STORAGE

(f) Acids shourci be diruted with care- arways add acid to water, neveradd water to acid.

FIRST AID
(a) rn case of skin contact: Quickly take off contaminated clothes,shoes and leather goods (e.g. watchbands, belts etc.), and gentlyblot or brush away excess chemical. Immediately flush affectedparts with lukewarm (gently flowing) water ror at least thirtyminutes and imrnediatery calr a poison centre or doctor. Do notstop flushing, if it can be done safery and continu" nu.n,n* .n"nduring transporting the person concerned to the hospital;
(b) rn case of Eye contact: Avoid direct eye contact. lvear chernicarprotective gllves, if necessary. euickly and gently trtot or hrusnchemicar offthe face and immediately flush the-contu.ninute,r "v"rrlwith ,ukewarm, gentry flowing water for at reast 30 minutes, whireholding the eyelid(s) open. Ifa contact lens is present, do not delayflushing or attempt to remove the lens. Neutrar sarine solution maybe used as soon as it is avairabre. Do not stop flushing and ifnecessary, continue flushing even during transportinf ,n" O"..onconcerned to the hospital;
(c) rn case of rngestion: Make the victim to rinse mouth with water.If vomiting occurs naturary, have victim rean forward to reducerisk of aspiration and continue rinsing of mouth with water.Immediatery cara poison centre or doctor and transport the victimto a hospital ifhospitalization is required; and
